San Joaquin Emergency Food Bank

Thanks to your support during our Holiday Charity Casino Night we were able to donate. "This is the biggest, most beautiful check we have ever gotten." said Tim Viall, Executive Director of the San Joaquin Emergency Food Bank.

Women's Center of San Joaquin:  Walk A Mile In Her Shoes Charity Event

Dr. Derron Lee was courageous enough to walk a mile in women's shoes to raise awareness about sexual assault and gender violence in San Joaquin County.

He is accompanied by his Leadership Stockton classmates:  (from left to right):  Dan Natividad from Health Plan of San Joaquin; Timm Quinn from the Stockton Chamber of Commerce; Dr. Derron Lee from Midtown Optometry; and Matt Reynolds, Esq.

All monies raised is donated to the Women's Center of San Joaquin County.

St. Mary's Interfaith Community Center: Eye Clinic

Dr. John Demshar from Brookside Optometry has been providing comprehensive eye exams and glasses for the clients of the St. Mary's Interfaith Community Center since 1991. 

Dr. Derron Lee has recently joined Dr. Demshar to add additional doctor support for the center's clients.  

Dr. Eldon Rosenow was gracious enough to donate a newer slit lamp and phoropter to replace the old equipment there.  

On any given day, Dr. Demshar and Dr. Lee see about 12 patients during their clinic sessions.   With limited appointments available during the clinic times, clients line up to be seen as early as 4 am!! 

Dr. John Canzano of Zeiter Eye Medical Group, provide the surgical support for the clinic's patients.
